Keogh's Farm Crisps:  Local potato growers Keoghs Farm have just launched their newest product - superb farm-cooked crisps from their own potatoes.  They have three delicious flavours for the moment: Dubliner Cheese with Onion, Roast Beef and Stout, and Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar, using our cider vinegar for the crisps.  We think they're Ireland's finest crisps!

Preparing for New Planting:  Regretfully we are cutting down our Jupiter apple trees this month, to make way for our new consignment of pear trees in the Spring.  Jupiter is a good apple, but not spectacular, and we are planting some very exciting apple varieties in the new year - really special apples with wonderful flavour, which are nowhere to be found in the shops.  Mind you we will have to wait a few years before we start getting a decent crop from the new trees.

Delicious free-roaming Bronze Turkeys:  This season we are selling bronze turkeys farmed outdoors in neighbouring County Louth.  This is the real deal in Turkey, and only about 1% of all Christmas turkeys consumed in Ireland are reared to this standard and quality.  Along with some of our own free-range ham, this is the makings of the best possible Christmas dinner!
