Welcome to Llewellyns Orchard

Definition: "An orchard is an intentional planting of trees or shrubs that is maintained for food production"
Welcome to Llewellyns Orchard, the website for David Llewellyn’s Irish orchard and produce.
Recently we decided to change the name of our website from 'Fruit and Vine' to 'Llewellyns Orchard'. We still grow fruits, and vines, in Ireland, of course, and if you have landed here through a search for 'Fruit and Vine', you have landed in the right place. We just felt that, going forward, identifying the website directly with the family name is more appropriate, and more in keeping with the fact that 'Fruit and Vine' 'is' basically David Llewellyn anyway, and that we 'brand most of our products simply as 'Llewellyns'.
From our small-holding in the fertile countryside of North County Dublin (“The Kitchen Garden of Ireland”), we grow a range of fruits, and produce a selection of premium natural products from these fruits.
Apples have traditionally been our staple, but we now grow grapes, pears, cherries and strawberries. We make a range of speciality apple juices, natural real ciders, apple cider vinegar, and our very special balsamic apple cider vinegar.
Apart from that, we produce what is currently Ireland's only available wine, among a few other interesting and unique products, like Ireland's only Pear Juice and Ireland's only Balsamic Vinegar. We also keep a small number of free range pigs at the orchard. We use these to produce a limited quantity of pork, bacon and Christmas hams, which we have available at Christmas time along with our local Free-range Bronze Turkeys.
As a small family-run enterprise, we are, unfortunately, not open to the public, as such. However, customers who wish to buy direct from us can collect produce from us at the fruit farm in Lusk, provided this has been arranged with us in advance.
Welcome to the website for David Llewellyn's award-winning range of Irish fruits, Apple juices, Real ciders, Irish wines and Irish apple cider vinegars.
New pigs at the Orchard
We are now rearing our new pigs at the Orchard, with an eye on having the hams cured just on time for Christmas. These rare-breeds are a cross between the traditional Irish Grazer and the Pata Negra black Spanish pig.
Free Range Bronze Turkeys
The year is marching on, the outdoor turkeys are already growing, and if you are looking to get the best quality turkey for Christmas you need to at least be thinking soon about where you might order yours from.
